Supercharged Badging
This modification is simple, and was a nice finishing touch for Project SportRunner. The hardest part was finding the perfect badges that matched the theme of the truck and weren't cheap EBay junk. The TRD badges included with the supercharger just didn't do it for me. The ones I found I believe to be from a GM vehicle, but I never could confirm it with a part number. I got them from SFX Performance and quite frankly they were a little over priced, but this is the only place I could find exactly what I wanted. These measure 1/2" x 6" which is perfect for mounting on the front part of the driver and passenger doors.
For this modification you'll need:
2 Supercharged Badges
1" Painter's Tape
Wash the truck and dry it before applying the badges. I also hit the area where I'd be applying the badges with some wax just for good measure to make sure the foam adhesive backing had a good clean surface to stick to.
Next, outline the area where you want the badges with painter's tape. This will help keep the straight, and evenly spaced on each side. Optionally, you can use a level to help keep the straight, but I didn't really find the need.
